VASSALBORO (AP) — Police are investigating two fatal crashes in Vassalboro and Waldoboro that have killed three people.
Waldoboro police are investigating a crash on U.S. 1 that killed two people in the commercial section of the town on Friday.
State Police also say a woman died in a one-car crash in Vassalboro after her vehicle went off the road on a curve and hit a tree. Police say the accident occurred Friday afternoon on Stone Road. The accident is currently under investigation.
Police did not identify victims in either accident.
