1949 – 2014

NAPLES — Stephen James Wilson, 64, passed away on Monday, April 21, at his home in Naples.

He was born in Portland on Nov. 21, 1949. Stephen grew up on the family farm in West Cumberland and ran the farm as a young man. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Greely High School.

He served in the U.S. Army and had a long career in the U.S. Postal Service. In later years, he made his living as a builder, dealer in real estate and trading in antiques. Family was the most important thing in his life.

Stephen leaves behind his children: Catrina and Theresa Wilson and Anna Graham and their mother, Lydia; Joseph and Nicole Wilson and their mother, Lera; and Danielle Gonzalez, Andrew Wilson and Michelle Sanborn and their mother, Valerie Wilson. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Anne Dionne of Cumberland, Gary Wilson Sr. of Cumberland, Donna Searles of Poland, Nancy Latham of Gray, Susan Wilson of Bridgton, Lynda Jensen of Cumberland, Jeff Wilson of Cumberland and Laura Willis of Cumberland; 12 grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, James H. Wilson and Marie Blanchard Wilson; and a brother, James D. Wilson.
