PORTLAND — The fourth annual “Feathers Over Freeport” birdwatching event is scheduled to take place at Bradbury Mountain State Park in Pownal and Wolfe’s Neck Woods State Park in Freeport.
The event takes place Saturday in Pownal and Sunday in Freeport. It is sponsored by the state and Freeport Wild Bird Supply and will include bird walks for adults and children and a host of children’s activities.
The event will also include live bird presentations about birds of prey at 1 p.m. at Bradbury Mountain on Saturday and 1 p.m. at Wolfe’s Neck on Sunday.
Park entry fees will apply for residents attending the events. Programs will be included with normal park admission.
