1922 – 2014
NORWAY — Natalie H. Stearns, 92, of South Paris died Friday at the Norway Center for Rehabilitation and Living Center.
She was born in Norway on April 27, 1922, the daughter of Charles and Elsie Morey Howe. She attended schools in Norway and had worked as a retail clerk at W.T. Grant Company and Woolworth’s, as well as several other stores.
She was an avid New England sports fan, especially the Red Sox. She will be remembered for her love of family and her home.
Survivors include her sons, Nelson Carey and his wife, Faye, of Pueblo, Colo., and Chris Stearns and his significant other, Debbie Farrar, of South Paris; her daughter, Kelly Greenier and her husband, Garth, of Gorham; her brother, Doug Howe and his wife, Pat, of Portland; seven grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Craig.
