1924 – 2014

NORWAY — Ralph Cleveland Sr., 90, of Norway died Friday at his home.

He was born in Norway, April 29, 1924, the son of James and Ethel Stanley Cleveland. He attended school in Norway.

Ralph faithfully served his country in the Army during World War II. He worked in the foundry and as a machinist and carpenter.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, building things, scratch tickets, raising chickens and roosters and helping everyone out. Ralph loved to feed people.

He is survived by his wife, Winnifred; his children, Ralph Jr. and Peggy, Jerry and Becky, Jeff and Linda, Doug and Donna, Jolene and Jim Rose and Rodney Cleveland; stepchildren, Charlene and Steve Day, Marlene and Gordon Leeman, Michael and Linda Korhonen, Timothy and Jo-Ann Korhonen, Darryl Korhonen, Ida and Stan Davis, Kathy and Joel Pulkkinen; 26 grandchildren; 40 great- grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Irene; and his parents.
