1933 – 2014

RUMFORD — Zenia A. Hodgkins, 80, of Spruce Street in Rumford, died on Wednesday, May 7, at Rumford Hospital.

She was born in Rumford on June 24, 1933, the daughter of John and Annetta (Moynaugh) Lannon, and graduated from Mexico High School, Class of 1952.

She was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church. Zenia was an avid beano and card player, and enjoyed rides with her friends and family. She also loved her family and grandchildren very much.

She was married in Rumford on Aug. 28, 1954, to Albert N. Hodgkins, who died in Mexico on March 30, 1987.

Survivors include her sons, Stephen Hodgkins and companion, Pauline, of Dixfield and Reginald “Mark” Hodgkins of Wheeling, W.Va.; and grandchildren, Joshua Alan Hodgkins and Garrett Bryan Hodgkins of Rumford, and Nikki Leigh Hodgkins of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by her parents; a daughter, SallyJo; brothers, George, Francis, Earl and Reginald Lannon; and sisters, Eleanor Landry, Mary Bloodsworth and Florence Gilliam.
