1932 – 2014
GORHAM — Francine Marie Richard, 81, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, April 3.
She was born in Rumford on April 18, 1932, the daughter of Albert Richard and Edmée Johnson. Francine was a graduate of St. Therese School and Mexico High School, Class of 1950.
She was much-loved, especially by her nephews and nieces. She never forgot her young adult friends and always asked about them. Francine had a close relationship with her Lord and His Mother; her rosary was always with her.
She is survived by a sister, Ella M. Laplante and husband, Wilfred, of Rumford; brothers, Paul and wife, Sandra, of Lynchburg, Va., and Joe and wife, Marjorie, of Mexico; and a sister-in-law, Esther Richard.
She was predeceased by a brother, Gerard “Gerry” Richard.
We wish to thank all the facilities where Francine resided, especially Gorham Cottages for their kindness and caring; all of them spoiled her. May they be blessed; we will keep them in our prayers.
