FAYETTE — The sixth annual Fayette Fun Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at the Fayette Central School on Route 17. The event is open to the public.

There will be a giant inflatable obstacle course, bounce houses, candy drop, pony rides, face painting, games and activities, including a Jell-O eating contest.

Attendees will be able to get a close-up look at the firetruck, ambulance and many types of tractors, trucks and equipment in the “Touch a Truck” area. Kids can act like a firefighter controlling the fire hose or be a police officer and put their friends in a makeshift jail.

There will be a craft fair in the gym.

A raffle will be held with several prizes that include 10 live lobsters, a lift pass to Saddleback Ski Area in Sandy River Plantation, a garden basket or pizza and movie passes to the Narrow Gauge Cinema in Farmington. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. The drawing will be held at the festival.

The Fayette Fun Festival has become an event that many families look forward to each spring. The event has continued to grow with the support of many generous individuals and businesses in the surrounding communities.

Admission is $4 per person and includes unlimited use of the bounce houses/obstacle course. Lunch will be available.
