ALLAGASH — Police say a Westbrook man has died in a weekend motorcycle crash in Allagash.
The Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office says 23-year-old Dana Watts was headed east on Route 161 just before 6 p.m. Saturday when he failed to negotiate a corner and lost control.
The motorcycle left the road and Watts sustained fatal injuries.
Watts was wearing a helmet.
Police say the crash remains under investigation but speed appears to be a factor.
