The family-friendly show incorporates live music played by local musicians to highlight contemporary ballet, jazz, and hip hop dance pieces. Performers confirmed to appear include: Dirigo Dance Company, Burlesque Divas, Aaron Nadeau, Jesse Stevens-Gardiner, Thomas Sommo, Burton Blackman, Timothy Goad, Nicholas Clark, and James Good-Eye.

Director Ashley Steeves originated this dance company to provide post-high school performance opportunities for adults with dance experience. In October 2013, Steeves, along with Elizabeth Rancourt-Smith, started classes and rehearsals. They teach intermediate technique in contemporary ballet, and other dance genres to teens and adults.

The Singer Songwriter Dancer will feature the company of 11 contracted dancers of varying backgrounds. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets will be on sale at the door for $15 general admission. For more information, call 207-542-9246 or email kineticallyme@gmail.com.
