WINTHROP — The “Can Film Festival” continues at 7 p.m. Friday, June 13, at the Friends Meeting House on Winthrop Center Road (Route 135).

The CAN’S objective is to have fun, see a well-known film appealing to all age groups and support local food banks. The “price of admission” is a can (or two or three cans) or boxed food items to help support the Winthrop and area food banks.

Popcorn is provided for all.

The viewing license for not-for-profit showing does not permit release of the film’s title to the public, but you will not regret seeing this film for the first time or seeing it again.

Plan to enjoy a family night out together, and make a contribution to the community.

The Winthrop Food Bank posts its most needed items at winthropfood.org as well as other items they can accept.
