I was reading the Oxford Hills edition of the Sun Journal (June 20) and saw the picture of Doris Winslow holding a block of homemade butter for sale at the Norway Farmers’ Market.
I haven’t had any homemade butter like that since Mr. and Mrs. Littlehale made it on their farm in North Paris and delivered it door-to-door in West Paris. That was when I was just a kid.
They also had some of the best horseradish that I ever had.
That is just one of the fond memories of growing up in West Paris.
