LEWISTON — Scott Twitchell, USI regional president, has announced that Peter A. Casey has recently joined the agency’s Maine operating company as vice president in its commercial insurance practice in the South Portland and Lewiston office. He is working with senior management to secure the best business insurance programs.
An insurance veteran with over 22 years experience, Casey began his career in 1992, running one of the oldest insurance agencies in the state of Maine. During his career, he has held positions as vice president, president and owner of Sturtevant & Ham, Inc., and agent and office manager for Northeast Bank Insurance Group for four years. Prior to joining USI, he spent three years as a commercial lines agent for Varney Insurance Agency.
