1935 – 2014

AUBURN—Marguerite Rosilda Paradis Bonenfant, 78, of 426 East Ave., Lewiston, died Monday, June 30, at the Hospice House in Auburn.

She was born in Lewiston on Dec. 20, 1935, the daughter of Ernest and Corilda Lamoureaux Paradis. Educated in local schools, she was a graduate of St. Dominic High School, Class of ’54.

On May 3, 1958, she married Ronald P. Bonenfant, and they made their home and raised six children in Lewiston.

A dedicated homemaker, she also worked for many years in various secretarial positions, and retired as a patient service representative from Medaphis in 2000.

Maggie enjoyed the simple things in life; being outdoors, gardening, attending her grandchildren’s many school, dance, and sporting events, and surrounding herself with family. She was a member of the former St. Patrick’s Parish.
