LEWISTON — The Lewiston Democratic City Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, at the Armory on Central Avenue.

Guest speaker will be Omar Bouratch, a Djibouti immigrant talking about the impact of General Assistance cuts on families who are awaiting permanency status in Maine.

All registered Democrats are invited to attend. There will be refreshments available, followed by a business meeting.
