will gather with some of the area’s top musicians and guests from near and far for the annual “Homecoming” show which has become a July tradition over the past 20 years. Belskis, of Lakeland, Florida, is originally from Rumford, and has played guitar and sung in bands as long as he can remember.

Some of his bands may be recalled by local music lovers such as “The Vibrels,” “The Corvells,” “Top Shelf,” “ Taste,” and “The Dreamers.”

Belskis will have a few family members featured on the agenda including his wife Jen on back-up vocals and brother Billy Belskis on bass, who had his first gig at eight years old playing at the Rumford Armory. Daughter Tricia sings and recorded her first single when she was just nine years old and has since recorded two full albums.

They are looking forward to playing with local favorites Haydn Jones, Jimmy Austin and Ken Brady. Special guest performances will go until 5 p.m. then other musicians are invited to jam from 5-7 p.m. Contact bbelskis@aol.com to participate in the after-show jam.

“Homecoming 2014” will be held at 49 Franklin Reception Hall. Doors open at 1 p.m. with performances starting at 1:30 p.m. Food will be available for purchase and a cash bar will be available.
