BEACON, N.Y. — Georgia Elizabeth Mierswa and Andrew Ian Brodsky were married June 28 at The Roundhouse at Beacon Falls in Beacon, N.Y. The Rev. Jeddah Vailakis officiated.

The bride, 25, is marketing coordinator for Online and Scholarly Reference at Oxford University Press in New York. She graduated magna cum laude from Hamilton College with a bachelor’s degree in creative writing. She also graduated from the Columbia Publishing Course.

Her father, Charles Mierswa is CFO and executive vice president business operations for Brooklyn Nets basketball and Barclays Center. Her mother, Julia Mierswa, is the author of two books of short stories. They graduated from Hamilton College in 1984 and reside in Westfield, N.J.

The bridegroom, 25, is attending the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and will graduate in May 2015. He graduated from Hamilton College with a bachelor’s degree in biology.

His father, Dr. Kenneth Brodsky of Auburn, is an internal medicine physician. His mother, Jane Brodsky, is a registered nurse and the coordinator of the recovery room at Central Maine Medical Center.
