1967 – 2014
PORTLAND — John Michael Toothaker, 46, of Gorham, died unexpectedly on Wednesday afternoon, July 16, at Maine Medical Center, with his family at his side.
He was born in Farmington on Dec. 19, 1967, a twin son of Garfield and Lorraine Breton Toothaker, and was a graduate with his B.A. from the University of Maine at Farmington. At the time of his death, he was a licensed site evaluator and certified soil scientist at Tooth & Associates in Gorham.
On Aug. 31, 1991, he married Elizabeth “Beth” Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Beth, of Gorham; two sons, Robert Cody Toothaker and John Kolt Toothaker, both of Gorham; his father, Garfield and his companion, Judie Stevens, of Gorham; his mother, Lorraine and Julie of Peru; siblings, his twin Jude, Lisa Miller, Morris Toothaker, Brandon Mountain and Heidi Wilcox.
