PARIS — Professionals seeking advanced credentials can take courses leading to a master’s degree from the University of Maine or the University of Southern Maine at UC at South Paris. Dozens of university graduate courses are offered at University College each semester and online.

Students take the same courses, learn from the same professors and earn the same degrees as students enrolled on campus. The only difference is that students complete their studies on their own schedules, without having to commute to a campus.

Students at UC South Paris have access to the following university master’s degree programs: Adult & Higher Education, Computer Engineering, Curriculum Assessment & Instruction, Early Childhood Education, Electrical Engineering, Engineering and Business, Instructional Technology, Liberal Studies, Literacy and Rehabilitation Counseling.

University College advisers provide career counseling and assist students with financial aid applications, course registrations, book orders and computer access. University College at South Paris has computer labs for people without home access to high-speed computers.

Registration for the UMS fall semester is open and ongoing. For more information about master’s programs or to meet with an adviser, contact Nikki Abbott at 743-9322 or visit www.learn.maine.edu/southparis.
