FARMINGTON — Zeta A. Trask, 77, formerly of Dryden, died Sunday morning, July 27, at Edgewood Rehabilitation and Living Center in Farmington.
She was born in Farmington on July 13, 1937, a daughter of Harry and Gertrude (Adams) French, and received her education in Jay schools. On March 31, 1956, she married Gerald Trask; he died in 1995. Zeta worked at Norwock Shoe and later at G.H. Bass and Co., in Wilton.
Her first priority was always her family, her kids and the kids in the neighborhood. She was a hard worker and there was nothing that she wouldn’t do to help someone out.
She is survived by her children, Tim Trask of New Sharon, Tena Trask-Gaboury and her husband, Ricky, of Farmington and Todd Trask and his wife, Donna, of Jefferson; a special granddaughter, Jamie Medrano, of Jay; grandchildren, Tyler Trask of Windham, Shaleigh and Marena Trask, both of New Sharon and Taylor and Cody Gaboury, both of Farmington; great-grandchildren, Peyton and Owen Medrano, both of Jay; brothers, Michael French of Bowdoinham and Ronnie French of Wiscasset; and a sister, Frances, of Connecticut.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Tammy Black, in 1989; a brother, Wilfred; and a sister, Rita.
