FARMINGTON — Police said a Wilton woman was injured in a rear-end crash in front of the Colonial Valley Motel on the Wilton Road on Wednesday.

Thia Bridges, 18, complained of neck and back pain and was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital by a NorthStar ambulance, Farmington police officer Michael Lyman said.

Bridges, who was traveling west at about 12:20 p.m., stopped her 2001 Volkswagen Jetta behind a 2007 Dodge Caliber driven by Reginald McBean, 68, of Wilton, who was stopped to turn left into the Sandy River Realty lot.

A 2006 Honda Pilot driven by Edward Wallace, 41, of Phillips rear-ended Bridges’ car and pushed it into McBean’s, Lyman said.

McBean was not injured; Wallace received a laceration on his arm but was not taken to the hospital, the officer said.

Bridges’ and Wallace’s vehicles were towed; McBean was able to drive his away.

Members of Farmington Fire and Rescue assisted at the scene.
