LEWISTON — Knights of Columbus, Rev. Louis J. Fortier Council 106 of the Prince of Peace Parish at the Basilica of St. Peter & Paul recently held a Family Supper at the Holy Cross Church Hall.

One $500 scholarship was presented to a student attending St. Dominic Academy who has a father or grandfather who is a member of the council. Four $500 Council 106 college scholarships were presented to sons, daughters or grandchildren of Council 106 members. One student also received the Paul & Georgette Genest College Scholarship of $500, which is awarded to a Lewiston High School student who participates in sports.

The scholarships were presented by the Grand Knight Leo Baillargeon.

Scholarship winners

Cameron Thomas Boucher, the son of Sir Knight Dale and Natalye Boucher, graduated from Lewiston High School and will attend Saint Joseph’s College in Standish, majoring in biology/pre-physician assistant. He also received the Genest Scholarship.

Paige E. Weber is the daughter of Doug and Monique Weber and the granddaughter of Sir Knight John L. Grenier. She graduated from Edward Little High School and will attend Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, Pa.

Danielle N. Cote, the daughter of Sir Knight Kenneth and Diane Cote, is a graduate of Edward Little High School and will attend the University of Maine in Farmington.

Camden J. Jalbert and Madison S. Jalbert are the sons of Scott and Jody Jalbert and the grandsons of Sir Knight Pierre Jalbert. Camden will be a sophomore at St. Dominic Academy in the fall. Madison is a graduate of St. Dominic Academy and will attend Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass.
