A Pike Industries crew grinds pavement on Hancock Street in Rumford on Aug. 6. The Maine Department of Transportation repaving contract was awarded to Pike Industries, beginning at the Rumford/Mexico Bridge and going all along Route 2 to the bottom of Falls Hill and then from the top of Falls Hill to a point between Rumford Center and Rumford Point.
