The Western Maine Fish & Game Club will be holding a 3-Gun Shoot on Sunday, Aug. 31, starting at 9 a.m. Participants will provide their own guns (rifle, handgun and shotgun) and ammo/shot shells. Each shooter will shoot five shots on the rifle range, five shots on the handgun range and 25 shots on the trap field. Bring extra ammunition in case of a shoot off. We are giving away prizes, including a Weatherby 12-gauge pump shotgun, a digital wildlife call, some David Footer prints and a table top grill. Refreshments will be available.
The entry fee is $30! The winner of the shotgun must pass a background check in order to claim prize. For more information, call Arlin at 583- 4535. The club is also doing a fundraiser to help complete the classroom that has been started.
