YARMOUTH — The wedding of Molly Elizabeth Metevier and Trevor Howard Paul was held at 10 a.m. on June 28 at Sacred Heart Church in Yarmouth. The Rev. Dan Greenleaf officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Paul is the daughter of Paul and Gay (Peterson) Metevier of North Yarmouth. Mr. Paul is the son of Daniel and Teresa Paul of Yarmouth.
The bride wore her mother’s white satin wedding gown, trimmed with lace and seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of wild flowers.
Bridgett Wooten, friend of the couple, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mary Metevier and Lauren Shumeyko, sisters of the bride, Jen Metevier, sister-in-law of the bride, Erica Paul, sister of the bridegroom, and Andrea Wyman, friend of the bride.
Best men were Seth Perkins and Andrew Lindberg, friends of the bridegroom. Ushers were Riley Paul, brother of the bridegroom, Seth Metevier, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Scott Rousseau and Justin Toy, friends of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was Charlie Beau Wooten, godson of the couple.
A reception followed at the Chandler House in New Gloucester. The couple is planning a trip to Iceland in August. They reside in Hebron.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Cheverus High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a degree in sociology. She is employed at Progress Center in Norway as community case manager for adults with developmental disabilities and autism.
The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Falmouth High School and a 2008 graduate of Wheaton College with dual degrees in history and English. He received a master’s degree in special education in 2013 from the University of Southern Maine. He taught English and history in Tianjin, China, for two years and is currently teaching English and coaching soccer and hockey at Hebron Academy.
