WOODSTOCK — Police are asking for the public’s help locating a woman who has been missing since Wednesday.

Oxford County Sheriff’s Office deputies identified the woman as 53-year-old Woodstock resident Kathleen C. Zurzolo, who reportedly disappeared from her home Wednesday afternoon.

Extensive searches around her rural home have not produced any leads, and Zurzolo does not own a vehicle, according to Oxford County Sheriff Wayne Gallant.

“We hope if she did get a ride or was walking or hitchhiking, someone passing by might help us track her down,” Gallant said.

Zurzolo was reported missing after her husband returned to their home that afternoon and called police around 5:30 p.m.

Gallant said there is no indication of foul play or health issues which might be attributed to the disappearance. Interviews with friends and family did not indicate that there were personal problems.

A physical description or list of clothing she was wearing was not known.

“We’re concerned with where she is and why she left,” Gallant said.

Anyone with leads is urged to call the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office at 207-743-9554.
