Key losses: Boys: Will Shafer, Josh Harper, Josiah Ellingson. Girls: Grace Ferguson.
Promising newcomers: Boys: Seniors — Dillon Sullivan; Junior — Garrett Moran; Freshmen — Logan Nickerson, Jonathon Harper, Seth Levier. Girls: Junior — Samantha Shampine; Sophomores — Melissa Hebert; Freshmen – Kylie Trawick.
Season outlook: The boys will look to build on the success of last season. Four of last year’s top seven return to give the Patriots a solid core as they look to head to the state meet for a second straight year. The girls have a good mix of veterans and newcomers and will look to make a statement in the always tough Western Maine Conference as the season progresses.
