FARMINGTON — A Livermore Falls man pleaded guilty Thursday to stealing a credit card to buy more than $1,200 in food, gas and merchandise in October 2013.

Robert T. Judd, 35, pleaded guilty to three felony charges of forgery in Franklin County Superior Court, according to court documents.

Jay acting police Chief Richard IV Caton said previously the wallet, which contained the card, is believed to have been stolen from a business in Livermore Falls.

One count of felony theft by receiving stolen property and a misdemeanor charge of misuse of identification were dismissed.

Caton said in 2013 police were able to prove Judd used it by viewing surveillance videos at businesses. The credit card was used at businesses in Farmington, Jay, Livermore Falls and Wilton, he said.

Justice Joyce Wheeler sentenced Judd to four years in prison with all but 63 days suspended on each charge to run concurrent with each other, according to court documents.
