More than two dozen people participated in the start of the Walk with a Doc program last Wednesday. The free wellness education program,
sponsored by Rumford Hospital, takes place at the Hosmer Field track each Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. through Oct. 22. Prior to the 45-minute
walk, most of the participants volunteered to fill out questions to a research study around the event to see if walking makes a difference on people’s wellness and how they feel, physically and mentally.
