RUMFORD — A community stakeholder meeting will be held Thursday, Sept. 11, about rebuilding Community Dental in the River Valley area.

It will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Conference Room A at Rumford Hospital.

High winds on July 2 ripped off 30 percent of the roofing atop the River Valley Technology Center where the dental office is located. Water poured in from the storm and heavily damaged the office. The dental office has been closed since then.

Participants at the meeting can assess community support and discuss options for renovations and the continuity of oral health care for patients of the River Valley area, according to a news release from the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition and Community Dental.

Those who wish to attend are asked to RSVP the coalition by calling 364-7408 or writing to rvhccduguay@gwi.net.
