The citizens of Auburn are indeed lucky in this November election to have several well qualified candidates running to represent them in the legislature: Wayne Werts, the former Fire Dept. chief; John Cleveland, former mayor and councilor and small business owner; and Bettyann Sheats, a West Point graduate, veteran, helicopter pilot and small business owner.

I hope that voters will exercise their rights as citizens and vote on Nov. 4 in support of those excellent candidates.
