1967 – 2014

LIVERMORE — Gary J. Chadburn, 46, a resident of Leeds, died instantly on Saturday, Sept. 27, as a result of a head-on collision on Federal Road, Route 4, in Livermore.

He was born Sept. 28, 1967, in Lewiston, the son of Paul Chadburn Sr. and Katherine Ryan Chadburn. He attended Leavitt High School in Turner.

He enjoyed his home, woodworking and metal detecting. He also looked forward to going to his friend, Herb Marin’s house to play pool with the guys. Gary also enjoyed spending his Thanksgiving every year at Carl York’s camp with a bunch of their friends.

Gary enjoyed spending time daily with his best friend and uncle, Thomas Ryan, who also died in the accident. He loved spending time with his family and had a shared birthday with both his Uncle Charlie and Aunt Claire.

He is survived by his parents, Paul and Katherine Chadburn Sr. of Leeds; his brothers, Paul Chadburn and his wife, Amanda, of Canton and David Chadburn and his fiancée, Sara Sarvis, of Winthrop; as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, best friends and neighbors, Don and Greg Nazaroff.

He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents; uncles, Charles and John Ryan; and cousin, Juli Corkum.

Gary and his Uncle Thomas will be deeply missed by their families; no words can express their grief at this time.
