FRYEBURG — A Biddeford man remains behind bars Saturday after he was caught with 13 grams of heroin in Fryeburg.

Fryeburg police arrested Chad Burns, 41, around 12:15 p.m. Friday on Main Street as part of an ongoing investigation, Police Chief Joshua Potvin said.

Burns was taken to the Oxford County Jail and is being held on $860 cash bail Saturday morning. He faces a felony drug possession charge, and his first court appearance is set for Nov. 4.

Potvin said this arrest is related to a Thursday night incident where police found an unresponsive man in a car at a gas station on Main Street. Police say the 25-year-old Scarborough man had accidentally overdosed on bath salts.
