LEWISTON — The Atrium Art Gallery at the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College will sponsor “Area Artists 2015,” the art gallery’s long-running biennial open juried exhibition open to visual artists who live or work in Androscoggin, Franklin, or Oxford counties. Artists may submit up to two works to be juried; there is no entry fee.

Delivery times and dates are from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, and from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at USM LAC’s Function Room 170, 51 Westminster Street.

All media will be considered from paintings, drawings, prints, and photography to works in clay, fiber, wood, metal, and other 3-dimensional media. The juror for the exhibition is Robyn Holman, curator for the Atrium Art Gallery since 1992, with over 35 years’ experience in curating, jurying, and installing art exhibits.

The exhibition will open in the Atrium Art Gallery on Jan. 18 and continue through April 4. The opening reception is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18.
