PARIS— Oxford Hills defeated Lewiston 1-0 in a back-and-forth field hockey game Thursday night. Oxford Hills improves 9-4 on the season, while Lewiston drops to 1-11.

Abby Angevine set up Erin Morton off a corner attempt 10:46 into the second half.

Shannon Fillebrown stopped all five shots she faced in goal for Oxford Hills. Kaylyn Labonte made 14 saves for Lewiston.

Edward Little 5, Brunswick 0

AUBURN — Brooke Lever netted a pair of goals Thursday to propel Edward Little to a 5-0 romp over Brunswick in a KVAC field hockey tilt.

Kirsten Lupher, Jasmine Wyman and Marisa Carter also tallied for the Red Eddies (5-7-1) to complete the scoring.

Danica Nadeau made six saves to notch the shutout, while Jordan Vansavage turned aside 26 shots between the posts for Brunswick (1-12).

Girls’ soccer

Monmouth 3, Hall-Dale 2

FARMINGDALE — Haley Fletcher converted a pass from Izzie Lewis with 4:40 left in the contest to give Monmouth a narrow 3-2 win over Hall-Dale in n girls’ soccer action.

The powerhouse Mustangs (11-0-1) built a 2-0 advantage in the first frame, as Fletcher kicked off scoring followed by a tally from Maddie Bumann. Lily Ly scored Hall-Dale’s first goal on an assist from Andrea Fredericks. Signe Lynch netted the Bulldogs’ second score.

Mikayla Cameron made five saves for Monmouth, while Olivia Maynard turned aside 17 shots for the Bulldogs (7-4).

Bangor 3, Lewiston 0

BANGOR — Allyson Boulier netted a pair of goals in the second half as Bangor hustled to a 3-0 victory over Lewiston in more late-season girls’ soccer action.

Mary Butler also tallied for the Rams (9-0-2) to complete the scoring.

Emily Gilmore made two saves for Bangor, while Kelsey St. Cyr deflected 13 shots for the Blue Devils (5-6-0).

Wells 1, Poland 0 (2OT)

POLAND — Ali Duplisea scored an unassisted goal with 3:41 remaining in the second overtime to give Wells a 1-0 win over Poland Thursday.

Sara Ring made 10 saves for Wells (1-9-1) to notch the shutout, while Haley Whitworth turned back nine shots for the Knights (1-8-2).

Lisbon 1, Madison 1 (2OT)

MADISON — Deliah Scheiber scored with 25:20 left in the second half for Lisbon to earn a tie with Madison in girls’ soccer.

Kayla Bess picked up Madison’s goal in the first half as her sister Whitney Bess set the goal up.

Molly Nicholson of Madison (11-0-1) made three saves to preserve the tie. Lisbon’s (7-2-3) Allie Sult made 12 saves in net.

St. Dom’s 6, Winthrop 1

AUBURN — Riliegh Stebbins recorded a hat trick Thursday to propel St. Dom’s to a 6-1 victory over Winthrop in girls’ soccer.

Faith Grady, Caroline Gastonguay and Tia Rotolico also tallied for the Saints (10-2) to complete the scoring. Shie Smith scored the Ramblers’ (1-11) lone goal in the second frame.

Nicole Robitaille needed only one save to notch the win, while Haley Choate turned aside 19 shots for Winthrop.
