I support Heidi Brooks for Maine House District 61 because she is committed to moving forward on issues that support all Mainers.
She supports restoring municipal revenue sharing, which rightfully requires sharing state revenue with local communities to lower the tax burden on property owners.
She would vote to accept federal dollars to ensure that 70,000 Maine people are not denied the health coverage that they need and deserve through the Affordable Care Act.
She supports expanding access to pre-K and college programs for Maine residents because she understands the importance of investing in young people.
She also believes in raising the minimum wage to ensure that every working person can earn a living.
Put simply, Heidi Brooks understands that Maine must grow its economy by investing in its people, growing incomes from the bottom up and expanding the middle-class.
