RANGELEY — The Rangeley Lakes Region Logging Museum’s 34th Annual Festival and Parade was a success and set an attendance record.

Yankee Magazine highlighted the event as “One of the Top 20 Events in Maine.” The museum was presented with a certificate of award from the State of Maine by Sen. Tom Saviello.

Winners of the Logging Parade: Best Float: The Giving Tree. Most Appropriate to Logging: tie, The White Family’s Muscles Three (Wayne White and Lance White) from the Dixfield area, tied with Saddleview Farm of Rangeley, (Beth Flynn and Allyson Steward for their horse logging entry).

The shuttle bus was missed and will return for next year’s event.
