PORTLAND — The Maine Heritage Policy Center announces the election of Jinger Duryea, president of the C.N. Brown Co., as chairwoman of its board of directors. Duryea joined the board in May 2007.
C.N. Brown Co. is a South Paris-based family business that operates all Big Apple Food Stores and Red Shield Heating Oil locations throughout New England. She has the distinction of having been the first female chairman of the Maine Oil Dealers Association, and previously served on the board of directors of the National Association of Convenience Stores.
