There is an old saying, “The apple does not fall far from the tree.”
Paul LePage ran away from his tree; however, he took with him the anger and resentment of people on welfare, people on food stamps, people who were waiting for rent rebates.
We got a message instead of the regular application. Those of us beyond 70 years of age got a check for $400; now, the process has to go through the Maine income tax. The state gets extra money while we do not get the full $400 per year.
I got $225 — a big drop. In the fine print, “… might get up to $400.”
LePage is still throwing tantrums, claiming he wouldn’t do debates, then would go but sit in the audience, then decided to get on stage. He still has a legacy of foul language and stupid comments.
Four years of his bizarre behavior is enough. Vote him out.
