October’s Business After Hours event was held at Skowhegan Savings Bank in Farmington. The branch office was decorated in a festive autumn theme, and the Homestead Bakery provided a wonderful array of food and drinks.

Skowhegan Savings Bank President John Witherspoon thanked the Chamber for the excellent turnout, and talked about how pleased they were to be a part of the Franklin County community. Last year, Skowhegan Savings purchased all the Franklin County branches from Camden National Bank. They have kept all of these branches open, serving some folks who would otherwise have needed to travel more than 20 miles to the nearest bank, putting people before profits.

The door prize winners for the evening were: Steve Gray, Shannon Smith, and Chris Paradis.

The Chamber holds regular monthly Business After Hours events, and are actively booking well into 2015. If you wish to host an after hours, please contact the Chamber office today.

The next Business After Hours will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Aptuitiv, 224 Broadway, downtown Farmington. All are welcome to join us for a few hours of food, fun, and networking.
