The Minot Historical Society met on Oct. 14 for a program by local woodworker and carver Gary Stugard. He is pictured with Nicole Hastings, society secretary. On Oct. 12, Susan and Stephen Sanfilippo, maritime music historians, gave a concert at the Minot Center Congregational Church, followed by a tour of the parsonage that the historical society is in the process of purchasing. Members will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Town Office. Guest speaker Wendall Nason will present a program on Lost Valley and its early years.
