FARMINGTON — A Vienna teen faces charges after employees of a fast-food restaurant thought the driver and occupants of his vehicle were intoxicated.
Farmington police were called to McDonald’s about 2:08 a.m. Sunday after Cole S. Yates, 19, went by the drive-thru window, Rachel Heseltine, Farmington Police Department secretary read from the police report.
Officer Derrick Doucette pulled Yate’s vehicle over at McDonald’s and found two females younger than 18 were with him. Police started a field sobriety test on Yates, and the vehicle was searched.
Police found eight Twisted Tea bottles, a bag of marijuana, a marijuana pipe and rolling papers, she said.
Yates faces six charges including possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of liquor by a minor, transportation of liquor by a minor, possession of marijuana, furnishing marijuana to a minor and driving under the influence.
Yates bailed from Franklin County Detention Center later Sunday on $500 cash.
