A silver star medal was presented to the family of David L. Horne, Marine Corps Major, Vietnam.
Rep. Sheryl Briggs said, “It is my hope that we will all strive to support our veterans, not just today, not just Veterans Day, but every day.
Today’s token of appreciation represents the gratitude we have for our veterans all year hope. I hope they will remind you that your state and your country recognize the importants and selflessness of what you have done for all of us.”
