Three one-act comedies will be performed under the leadership of class co-facilitators Ross Timberlake and Lorrie Hoeh.

Timberlake said, “This year’s performance is entitled, ‘We Hope We Passed the Audition’ and that’s where the fun begins.”

“Identity Crisis,” by Kitty Burns, involves a tabloid reporter (Tineke Ouwinga) who stages an elaborate scam so she can write the story of the century, but her plan backfires when employees of Nebulas Airlines (Norman Milliard, Carole Timberlake and Jack Kuchta) unravel her scheme. Two anxious passengers (Jim McLean and Rosabelle Tifft) check in and out looking for their lost luggage.

“Out the Window,” by Richard W. Harris, is about a boring lazy husband (Ross Timberlake) in the proximity of a strong-minded wife (Barb Dion) and an overly wishful mother (Lorrie Hoeh). Watch how these three deal with this classic brow-beating ritual.

You’re sure to find a few eccentric guests at the boarding house in Isabel McReynolds Gray’s, “A Mad Breakfast.” Add a couple of practical jokers and an unwitting psychiatrist to the mix and you have more than blueberry pancakes on your plate.

Carol Campbell provides invaluable, behind- the- scenes production help assisting the director and “whatever else needs to be done.”

Western Mountains Senior College offers “Senior College Players” as a course. Now in its eighth year, most players are veteran thespians who have been with the troupe since it started. The class is open to anyone 50 years old and older.

Admission to the performance is free, however, donations will be appreciated to offset royalties. Intermission will include cookies and treats in the lobby. For more information, call 207-824 -2917.
