FARMINGTON — The Arts Institute of Western Maine is inviting area youth (ages 12-19) to audition for its Listen Local Recital Series. Specifically, there will be a Listen Local Youth concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 15, in Nordica Auditorium on the campus of the University of Maine at Farmington.
Any interested young musician or dancer can submit an audio or visual file with a sample of his/her repertoire to AIWM. It can be sent as an mp3 file or YouTube link to janeparker@gwi.net. Questions, or a request for a live audition, can be directed to this email address. The deadline for submission is Wednesday, Dec. 31.
AIWM is looking for performances of 5-15 minutes in length.
