LONG ISLAND — State police are investigating the discovery of a body in the driveway of a home on an island town off of Portland.
Police say two men found the body of man in his 50s on Wednesday morning on Long Island. State police say they are classifying the nature of the death as “unexplained” pending more investigation. The Portland Press Herald reports a county sheriff’s office says the death appears suspicious, but will not elaborate.
Police say they believe they know who the victim is. They say his family has been notified. Police say the driveway where he was found was outside his own home.
