NAPLES — Lake Region Community Theatre has announced auditions for the dramatic comedy, “The Days Are As Grass” written by Carol Hall. Jerry Walker will direct the play.
Auditions will be held from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Dec. 4 and 5, at the Songo Locks School on Songo Locks Road.
The play, a Samuel French, Inc. production, provides a poignant look at our foibles along life’s journey with some surprise moments and hilarious dialogue on the way.
Divided into eight vignettes, most featuring two characters, it explores themes such as hope, memory, old friends, lost love and the inevitability of time.
Needed are two to eight women and men. Age range from mid-30s and up. Audition requirements include a cold reading from the script.
The show dates are Jan. 30, 31 and Feb. 1. All performances will be at The Magic Lantern in Bridgton.
