1936 – 2014

AUBURN — Pauline L. (Tremblay) Castonguay, 78, of Lewiston, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Auburn Hospice House, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Lewiston on Nov. 10, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Alma (Landry) Tremblay. She was the youngest sister of the late Theresa Verreault, Larry, Maurice and Rolande Tremblay.

Pauline attended Holy Family School. She worked at Bird and Son, Supreme Slippers and DVE for many years before retiring, and also volunteered at the Longley School building.

She loved camping and making ceramics, as well as spending quality time with her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.

Pauline is survived by her companion, Robert Gilbert; her son, Keith Castonguay Sr. and his wife, Marie, of Lewiston; her daughter, Lisa Marcoux and her companion, Augie Hahn, of Manchester, N.H.; her grandson, Keith Castonguay Jr. and his wife, Kayla, and their two children of Lewiston; her granddaughter, Nicole Castonguay and her family of Bangor; and her two cats.
