AUBURN — The Auburn-Lewiston Sports Hall of Fame announced that Gipper’s Sports Grill of Auburn will again be the major sponsor of the Hall’s 7th Annual Basketball Tip-Off Classic on Friday, Nov. 28 and Saturday, Nov. 29 at the Lewiston High School gymnasium.
Friday’s schedule includes the girls’ varsity teams from Edward Little, Lewiston, Poland and Leavittas well as a junior varsity game between the Red Eddies and the Blue Devils. Saturday’s slate will feature the boys’ varsity teams from Lewiston, EL, Leavitt, Gorham and Poland, and a junior varsity game between Lewiston and EL.
Admission to each day’s games will be $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. The complete game schedule is as follows:
Nov. 28, girls’ teams
1 p.m. — Poland vs. Lewiston
2:30 p.m. — ELHS vs. Leavitt
4 p.m. — ELHS JVs vs. LHS JVs
5:30 p.m. — ELHS vs. Poland
7 p.m. — Leavitt vs. Lewiston
Nov. 29, boys’ teams
11:30 a.m. — Lewiston vs. Gorham
1 p.m. — Leavitt vs. Poland
2:30 p.m. — ELHS vs. Gorham
4 p.m. — ELHS JVs vs. LHS JVs
5:30 p.m. — ELHS vs. Poland
7 p.m. — Leavitt vs. Lewiston
