LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Irene C. Nagy was celebrated by the Rev. Robert Lariviere Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Holy Cross Church of the Prince of Peace Parish.
At the beginning of Mass, Irene’s daughter, Vicktoria, placed a wooden crucifix over her mother’s casket symbolizing her Mother’s faith with the Lord.
The Offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Irene’s two daughters, Victoria and Sylvia.
At the end of Mass Irene’s son-in-law, Joe Stafford, shared words of remembrance about his mother-in-law, Irene, and her faith with God.
The bearers were Peter Perkins, James, Daniel, David and Peter Hart as well as James Witherall.
Following a funeral procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, the Rev. Lariviere recited committal prayers at the entombment in Our Lady of Rosary Chapel of the cemetery. Then all in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston.
Arrangements by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston.
